چکیده
We study analytically and numerically the impact of second-neighbor interactions on propagation an initial wave-packet through a coupled nonlinear left-handed transmission line. start with detailed analysis dispersion curve group velocity. then use quasi-discrete approximation respect to long wavelength transverse perturbations reduce discrete model lattice Schrödinger equation. A product velocity (P) term (Q) is presented relevant parameters system. Here we see important role coupling, which makes non-monotonic. Thus, for given frequency, can be both positive negative, while each choice product, PQ, either or negative. Our numerical results confirm that sufficiently strong bright backward-wave pulses dark solitons coexist at common these travel in opposite directions lattice.

Forward coupling phenomena between artificial left-handed transmission lines
Coupling phenomena between artificial left-handed ~LH! transmission lines are explored on the basis of a transmission line approach of LH materials. A LH forward coupler in the form of an ideal lumped-element ladder network is presented and is shown to exhibit strong forward coupling that increases with decreasing of frequency. A quasi-lumped element microstrip implementation of a LH coupler is...
متن کاملBright and Dark Soliton Generation in a Left-handed Nonlinear Transmission Line with Series Nonlinear Capacitors
In this article, we demonstrate that in the case of a positive group velocity left-handed nonlinear (LH-NL) transmission line with series nonlinear capacitances, the spatial derivative of the voltage distribution satisfies the nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation. Consequently, it will shown that a LH-NL transmission line with series varactors can be used to generate both bright and dark solito...

A compact and sharp rejection UWB microstrip bandpass filter is developed using left handed metamaterials. For realizing a backward-wave propagation medium, two split ring resonator (CSRR) in the back substrate side and also one series capacitor etched in the host line, are used to produce a negative effective ε and μ, simultaneously. Moreover, in the proposed structure, two doublets parallel c...

متن کاملBackward Wave Propagation and Discrete Solitons in a Left-Handed Electrical Lattice
We study experimentally, analytically and numerically the backward-wave propagation, and the formation of discrete bright and dark solitons in a nonlinear electrical lattice. The latter is structured by a series diode and a shunt inductor per unit cell, so that it mimics a purely left-handed nonlinear transmission line. We observe experimentally that a focusing (defocusing) effect occurs above ...
